Broadway Art Show

The Monticello-Union Township Public Library is excited to host the Broadway Art Show on July 25th and July 26th. The Broadway Art Show provides an opportunity for the community to experience the many unique artists and artwork from local Indiana artists. Enjoy browsing the beautiful diversity of art media from paintings, jewelry, textiles, glass, pottery and wood.

Patron of the Arts Reception - July 25th from 5 pm - 8 pm

Those who want a first look and opportunity to purchase artwork can become an Art Patron. Individuals, businesses, and civic organizations can become Art Patrons by pledging to spend a minimum of $50.00 at the Broadway Art Show. By pledging in advance, Art Patrons will receive an invitation to an exclusive reception on Friday, July 25th from 5 pm – 8 pm. Enjoy an evening of instrumental music, delicious appetizers, and mingling with artists and art lovers.

Become an Art Patron, by clicking on this link and filling out the information or you can call the library at 574-583-2665.

The art show will open to the public on Saturday, July 26th from 9 am to 3 pm, browse the beautiful collections of unique artwork and purchase items.

Since 2008, the Monticello Public Library has hosted the Broadway Art Show as an annual fundraiser to supplement the library's operating budget. The proceeds from the show have been used to offset the cost for services, programs, and maintenance to the building and grounds. In light of recent legislation and termination of agencies, our fundraising efforts are now critical to our mission of serving our community.

When you purchase artwork at the show, a portion of the sales will benefit the library. Supporting the art show enables artists to continue creating and the library to continue serving the community. Join us as we celebrate the beauty of art in many forms.

The Broadway Art Show will be hosted at the library's temporary site located at 934 N Main St. between Ace Hardware and King Buffet. For more information about the show and if you want to be an art patron, contact the library at 575-583-2665.
