Patron of the Arts Reception - July 25th from 5 pm - 8 pm
Those who want a first look and opportunity to purchase artwork can become an Art Patron. Individuals, businesses, and civic organizations can become Art Patrons by pledging to spend a minimum of $50.00 at the Broadway Art Show. By pledging in advance, Art Patrons will receive an invitation to an exclusive reception on Friday, July 25th from 5 pm – 8 pm. Enjoy an evening of instrumental music, delicious appetizers, and mingling with artists and art lovers.

The Monticello-Union Township Public Library is looking for dependable and friendly individuals who like working with the public to fill two current positions at the Circulation Desk.
1) Part-time, days, rotating schedule, 22 hr/wk, $12/hr.
2) Part-time, afternoons and evenings during the week, every other Saturday, 22 hr/wk, $12/hr.
Applicants must have a high school diploma/GED, proficiency with a computer, and be willing to learn new technologies. Prior customer service experience is a plus. Specific duties include assisting library patrons with computer use, checking in and out library materials, registering new patrons for library cards, explaining library policies to patrons, and responding to telephone inquiries about library programs and services.

Mr. Duffers is celebrating the summer reading theme of "Color Our World" by cosplaying as Paw-blo Picasso. We will have a set of 7 one of a kind "almost" paintings on display. Of course as long as Mr. Meow-rity is on the loose, mischief will be afoot! Be ready for clues starting June 2nd for our summer Monticello Scavenger Hunt! Who will figure out the cryptic clues Mr. Meow-rity leaves behind to reclaim the art?
Starting March 31st, the Library will resume our regular operating hours:
Monday - Thursday: 9 am - 8 pm
Friday & Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm
Come visit us in our temporary location at 934 N Main St. Browse the collections, check out the children's corner, use our public computers, and visit with the staff. Our internet has been installed and we have computers ready for us, faxing available, and you can call us now!
