Broadway Art Show

July 26th & July 27th

The Monticello-Union Township Public Library is excited to host the Broadway Art Show on July 26th and July 27th. For the library, the Broadway Art Show has been an immense support to offset the cost of building and grounds repairs. In 2023, the art show profits provided funding to install an accessibility ramp at the entrance of the library. The profits from this year's art show will assist us in beautifying the library's south lawn.

Local artists are provided the opportunity to showcase their amazing artwork and the community can experience a variety of handmade, unique creations. There are over 40 artists confirmed for the art show with a diversity of art media from paintings, photography, jewelry, textiles, glass, pottery and wood.

On Friday, July 26th starting at 5 pm, join us for the Patron of the Arts reception for artists and art patrons. The art show will open to the public on Saturday, July 27th from 9 am to 3 pm, browse the beautiful collections of unique artwork and purchase items. Enjoy an afternoon with the sweet sounds from the Dulcimers Gathering.

Become an Art Patron

Those who want a first look and opportunity to purchase artwork can become an Art Patron. By pledging in advance, Art Patrons will receive an invitation to an exclusive reception on Friday, July 28 from 5 pm – 8 pm. Enjoy an evening of conversing with artists,  instrumental music, appetizers, wine, and artwork in an array of mediums. The multi-talented artist Cheryl Kaldahl will entertain us with her harmonious melodies during the reception.
