We are a community partner in supporting children's early language and literacy development.

Storytimes

Lapsit Storyhour - Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Canceled
Toddler Time - Wednesdays at 10 a.m. March 1, 8, 15 & 22
Preschool Story - Thursdays at 1 p.m. March 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30


Bring your children to this family friendly reading event.  Listen to stories and learn literacy tips to help your child learn to read. There will be pre-literacy and sensory stations to explore all with an emphasis on phonemic awareness! Registration is required.

Programs

Programs are offered in a variety of shapes sizes and tastes all year round.  Please check our calendar to see all our programs.

Art and Craft Saturdays:  The Children's Department offers an art/craft program the first Saturday of the month for children in Grades 2-5 at 11 a.m. April 1 at 11 a.m. Craft: Make your own Dream Catcher

Popcorn and a Movie:  The Children's Department screens popular G and PG rated movies the second Thursday of every month. Popcorn and fun abounds. Movies begin at 5:30 p.m. in the program room. Registration is not required. Sponsored by Gutwein Popcorn Company.

Lego League:  Join our new LEGO League for children in Grades K-5. Kids will build and display LEGO creations based around a weekly theme. We provide the LEGOs; you supply the creativity! Lego League is held on Mondays at 3:30 p.m.
