Travel with the Library
The Monticello-Union Township Public Library in collaboration with Springer Adventures invites you to visit the exhibit, “Choices: The Holocaust Through Eva’s Story,” that details the story of Eva Kor, Holocaust survivor and Mengele Twin, from before the war and through the rise of Nazism, to surviving the Auschwitz concentration camp and her journey of forgiveness. A recording presentation will be available to listen to her story.
Then, enjoy lunch and a guided tour at the Clabber Girl Museum where you’ll experience the history of one of the oldest brands in America and delight in the art of home baking. The museum is more than just the history of Clabber Girl. It also features glimpses into the history of Terre Haute and the evolution of American baking over the past two centuries. Ticket price is $50 for the first 25 people, $65 after 25 people. This trip is being subsidized by the Monticello Union Township Public Library.
