    We have a variety of resources and datebases to help you throughout the school year. Make sure to check out our website and research page to see what databases are available. Twin Lakes teachers and students are eligible for a free library card. Come into the library for more details.

    Friends Book Sale happening in August!

    Come purchase books for the start of the school year! We have a variety of items from hardback non-fiction and fiction to large print books. Dates for the book sale are August 24 and 25.

    Storytimes Start Back in August

    Enjoy stories, finger plays, music and activities in a family, friendly, positive environment. We have storytimes for toddlers on Wednesdays starting on August 15 and preschool storyhour on Thursdays starting on August 16. Join us for the Dog Days of Summer!

School begins Thursday, August 9 and soon there will be projects, speeches and homework on the horizon. But never fear the library is here to help you out! You can access the library’s catalog and website 24/7 to start any assignment. There are a number of resources available at the library and throughout our website. These include homework help, eBooks, and academic databases.

Available to all library patrons:

--NoveList for book 
recommendations, read likes, and Lexile levels and AR levels

--INSPIRE for access to research databases, 
available to all residents of Indiana

You can also email full articles to yourself and get bibliographic information and connect to other resources within the same subject.

--Homework Help: Tues. and Wed. at 6 pm in the Teen Scene during the academic year. 
Let National Honor Society students help you 
succeed in school. They will be here, starting in September and throughout the school year to 
answer your homework questions.

Be sure to bring paperwork, pens, pencils, 
textbooks or whatever you might need to do your assignment.

This site is staffed by college students and their focus is on grades 6-12 .

Available to patrons with a green library card:

--eIndiana Digital Consortium for fiction and nonfiction books, audiobooks, graphic novels, magazines, and movies to download onto 
electronic devices.

--Access to items from other Evergreen Indiana libraries to be sent to MUTPL for pickup. Students who are not in our service area can still come in and get a blue student card:

-- Bring your parent/guardian, with ID, and fill out an application. You can then check out material at our library. This is a way for you to keep up with your studies throughout the school year and keep on reading.
